The World GPRS Tracker is a self-contained complete hardware and software package small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. When placed with packages, vehicles, or personnel, the World GPRS Tracker provides detailed reports of routes traveled for quality-control and security purposes.

The SiRF star III technology features extra sensitive in the signal reception outdoors, indoors, and even through metal. WAAS enabled receiver providing GPS signal corrections, giving better position accuracy. How much better? Try an average of up to five times better. A WAAS-capable receiver can give you a position accuracy of better than three meters 95 percent of the time. World GPRS Tracker provides real-time navigation in urban canyons as well as high sensitivity acquisition needed for indoor use.

What is the SiRF Star III, and why is it so important? Well, the SiRF Star III chipset is a pretty big innovation in the GPS world, as it has dramatically better performance obtaining a GPS satellite lock and getting you a location, fast. The WorldTracker SMS with SiRF Star III technology provides faster fix times, better sensitivity, and longer battery life than any other GPS Tracking System.

The SiRF star III chipset is better at holding a signal in low signal areas such as traveling in a downtown area where there are a lot of sky scrapers or under dense tree cover. The chipset can track signals down to -159 dBm, and has 200,000 correlations, and most other chipsets have only a few thousand.

You must have SIM card from a GSM carrier.  You will be responsible for all charges billed by your cellular provider.

The tracking device package includes a SIM card that comes with $10 of airtime.  Each location report is sent using one text message. Text messages cost 10-15 cents each. When you have used all of the air time on that prepaid card, the tracker will stop reporting.  You can add/check airtime by contacting T-Mobile at 877-778-2106 over the phone or add time by the web by clicking HERE or if you have an ATT SIM card please call 800-901-9878 once you have activated your account or add time by the web by clicking HERE.

GeoFence Boundary Alerts
A Geofence is a virtual boundary on the map that will trigger an alert if crossed. Geofence boundaries can be drawn on the map, and the email you want the alert sent to can be input on the same page. It is possible to configure multiple Geofences in as many locations as you want. An example would be to easily draw an area on the map to let you know when you child has left an area or perhaps a driver takes a different route than he/she was assigned. You can even get an instant alert when the GPS tracking device starts to move.

SOS Panic Button Alerts
When pushed and held down for 2 seconds, the W-Trac will send 20 location reports,2 minutes apart and display on your live map page with an SOS alert message.

Driving Reports
Extremely accurate reporting shows the entire day's activity, including idle time, mileage driven, start / end addresses visited.
