Special Note:
The 316L & 304 stainless steel & Aluminum, which are widely known as a corrosion
free metal and excellent resistance to petroleum products and many
acids, but constant exposure of the 316L & 304 stainless steel
& Aluminum to chemicals
or water containing high level of Sodium Hypochlorite will cause the
chromium component on the surface to dissolve. This permits the free
iron in the Stainless steel &
Aluminum
to react with
oxygen to form rust.
In order to prevent oxidizing problem for an
underwater camera that intend to install especially in a
freshwater pool permanently where containing high concentrated Sodium
Hypochlorite, the camera housing must be made of a specific durable
plastic including Polycarbonate, Polypropylene,
PVC, etc. as our EUC-700 underwater camera
series, otherwise our one-year full warranty
service won’t covered if any of our underwater cameras that
made of the 304 stainless steel installed in a pool where containing
high Sodium Hypochlorite and corroded.
